Ahh, the life of leisure in hotels. So nice and easy.
After laying around for awhile, I decided it was time for a workout.
My workout today was a mixture of strength training and some cardio.
I first did 1o minutes on the treadmill, then a strength training circuit I got from Jessica @ How Sweet Eats, and then I followed it up with another 10 minutes on the treadmill, and then did one more set of the circuit.
It felt so good to sweat! I plan on going on a little jog/walk through WVU’s campus a little later tonight. I’m so excited. I’ll be sure to bring my camera along.
I didn’t have many choices for lunch…but there is an Applebee’s right next door…so Applebee’s it was. I actually really like Applebees. They have good choices—they have a line of entrees 550 and under as well as some great salads.
After my carb fest this morning, I decided to tone it down and enjoyed a really good Paradise Chicken Fruit Salad.
It was really tasty and refreshing! The rest of the day will be spent relaxing, until the conference starts tonight!
What are some of your favorite “chain” restaurants?

Ah Applebees. Maybe some day I’ll be able to give it another chance.
Your day sounds so relaxing!
oh wow – I would definitely sweat!! My favorite chains are Subway, Chick-fil-a, P.F. Chang and Brio!
Yum, that salad looks amazing!
I’m really not big on chains, but I love everything about Moe’s Southwest Grill, which is a chain in the Eastern part of the country.
I am a HUGE fan of Moe’s. I’m sad to say the one in my town just shut down. I think I might’ve shed a tear or two.
I worked at that Applebees—lmao.
I haven’t been to a chain restaurant in so long, I don’t even know what I like anymore! I would sai Pei Wei’s Tofu Pad Thai is one of my faves though
Ahhh I love spending time at hotels. Your workout sounds great and I love your shoes! Are they nikes?
I’m not a huge fan of chain restaurants but a couple of my favorites are P.F. Changs and Mimi’s Cafe. You can always find something relatively light and healthy!
Sorry, but I’m just not an Applebee’s person. I’ve tried it a few times but don’t care for their food.
I do like Panera Bread, and if there’s nothing else, Subway’s a good option for me, since they have a veggie sub.
My favorite chain is st Louis bread company or panera for all you non-stl peeps
I will eat at Applebee’s, Panera Bread and Ruby Tuesdays.
Great workout!!!
nice workout girlie!! i saw that workout on Jess’s blog, she has the best circuits that can be done anywhere!! that looks like a great hotel gym too!
I love panera and cheesecake factory!
oh i love mimi’s cafe! they serve breakfast all day and their veggie options are awesome!
I like applebee’s but hubby does not so I only eat there with you. I really don’t eat out that much anymore. I love my home cookin:)
You look adorable in your workout gear!
Not gonna lie, I love to eat out! I love chipotle and panera bread the best!
I love Applebee’s too. The Lover is not crazy about it.
Love your kicks!
Jugo juice even tho its not a restaurant. i really dont go to restaurant chains.. hmm well the one in Canada i love is The Keg Steakhouse.. its probably the most popular around here
I LOVE that salad btw!!!
Looks like an awesome workout! For a chain restaurant I really like either Macaroni Grill or Olive Garden. OG has the best soup + salad!
I’m a fan of quite a few chains – Panera Bread, Olive Garden, Applebees(!) <– they actually have a grilled chicken dijon dish on their Under 550 menu that is FAB!!
AH… I love hotels too. Good for you for taking advantage of the gym! I usually hit the pool (aka float in it) and call it good.
I’ve never been an Applebee’s fan, but that salad does look good. Hmm.. fav restaurant would have to be… probably Red Robin. Yum!
That color green is so beautiful on you, and I just love your shoes!
Lisa, I LOVE your shoes. I seriously want a pair!! Are they Nikes? I couldn’t tell.
