Blogs I Love

Peanut Butter Fingers: Julie was the first food and exercise blog that I ever read. We became friends on another forum, and she started blogging, and she got me started. She’s gorgeous, balanced, and has a cute husband and dog to boot!

Eat Real Things: Chad will teach you how to eat real things…and love every minute of it. Plus, he’s incredibly smart and good looking. And the father of my child. Ok, I’ll stop gushing now.

One Fit Foodie: I also met Naomi on another fitness forum. This girl knows her stuff when it comes to exercise and staying fit. She also has many creative food ideas! She recently competed in a bikini competition and did AMAZING!

Low…&Behold!: Kacy is my first real life blogger friend. She is also an Okie and was estatic when I found her blog. She’s down to earth, real, and her blog shows that. She recently decided to follow her dream and move to DC so make sure to follow her along in her journey!

Melissa Nibbles: Ahh where do I ever start with Melissa? First of all, she’s funny and sarcastic. SO REAL. And she has many things about her blog that I love–like Mix It Up Monday, Three Things Thurday, and It’s OK.

Meals & Moves: Janetha is wonderwoman. She makes amazingly healthy and balanced meal, works out like a champ, and has some cute things in her life…like her husband Marshall and their two dogs.

Faith, Fitness, & Fun: I’ve “known” Tina for a few years now in internet land and she has been through a lot with me. Our experience with exercise, diet, and self image mirror each other and we have both broken free together. Plus, she has helped me and encouraged me in my walk with God.

The Great Balancing Act: Ahhh Susan the waffle queen!! Susan is a 20 something woman who moved to Toronto and experienced life. She recently had a major injury, moved back home, and is adjusting to her new life. She’s awesome and so inspiring. *update*: Susan never ceases to inspire me. After a rough elbow injury, Susan has been diagnosed with cancer. Her attitude and strength is inspiring.

Rachel Wilkerson: Just Hilarious. I read her blog EVERY morning. She says things others are afraid to say.

Girl Heroes: Jen is an ex figure competitor who loves her kettlebells and really knows herself and her body. She’s a Girl Hero ;) .

Hungry Meets Healthy: Christina is a hoot. She is an amazing baker, has awesome short blonde hair, and is just down to earth and real. Plus, she dressed up as a cow at Chik-fi-la. I love a girl that doesn’t care and just lives life!

Snack Face: Fierce. Funny. Fabulous.

I Heart Eggs: Becca is a figure competitor. She did 3 shows this past season and is now gearing up for another show! Check her out for her snarkiness, her motivation, and her drive. She’s a champ.

Cardio Pizza: Lindsey is the epitome of balance. She loves her good foods but also celebrates every Friday with pizza and loves her blizzards. She is open and honest and that’s what I love about her the most!

Can You Stay For Dinner: Can you say amazing weight loss?! And amazing food with amazing commentary. Amazing must be the word of the day.

Sweet Tooth, Sweet Life: Courtney is just fun. I love her down to earth attitude, her fashion posts, and her fun foods. She’s the queen of cupcakes and healthfying recipes.

A Healthy Slice of Life: Brittany had an amazing 20 lb weight loss and is now living a healthy lifestyle! and she has an adorable viszla–Koda!! NEW: She recently had a beautiful daughter.

Live, Love & Run: Melissa is a mom of two who has inspired me so much. I met her when she was well over 200 lbs and she recently crossed the below 200 lb mark. She loves to lift, ran a 5k for the first time and is just all around wonderful. She’s a great woman to k now.

Food in Real Life: Jamie is a friend from another fitness forum. She’s real and honest about her life–her food and her fitness!

Hollaback Health: Everything you ever wanted to know about blogging.

A Foodie Stays Fit: I’ve had the honor of meeting Teri and she’s just as great as you would think. She runs, she’s gorgeous, and she’s got the cutest boxer ever.

Living with Healthy Hunger: Dorry is from Dallas, TX. Her and her husband might be the cutest couple ever. She writes beautiful posts that always make me want to get outdoors and enjoy life.

Girl Meets Life: Gracie blogs about fashion, food, fitness, culture, beauty, how-to’s, etcetera. And she’s cute to boot.

Eat Move Write: Jasmine is a writer and it shows. Her posts are interesting, funny, insightful and real. She tells love stories, sad stories and her husband even does a post every week. You can’t beat that!

Sometimes Healthy Living Blog: Jamie is a midwestern girl at heart (from Nebraska) who lives in Manhattan now. She’s “sometimes healthy” and I love her no-nonsense, realistic attitude towards health. She’s the girl everyone can relate to. Plus, I love reading about her tales of NYC. I mean, she goes on a jog and just happens upon a movie premiere with Robert Pattinson?! Now that’s fun.

All Good Things: Malory is a gal I know in real life–she’s brutally honest, always funny and an amazing writer. I know you’ll enjoy her blog.

Kohler Created: A blog about design, food, Crossfit and their life. Love it.

I think it’s really cool you took the time to explain why you added these blogs to your blog roll. That’s so much better than just a list, more meaningful. :)

Thanks for having this page. There are a few blogs I have not had a chance to visit before.

I love the notes you have next to each blog, its sort of an introduction to what we can expect from the blog and most importantly, the reasons why you love it.

So thoughtful! I really like it. Thanks again.
