Apple Crisp

Bake Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

For Filling:

1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
little bit of pumpkin pie spice
6 apples, sliced and peeled

For Coating:
1 1/4 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter (melted)
Walnuts, etc optional.

Directions:

  1. Preheat over to 350. Spray a square baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Combine 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2 tbsps WW flour, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Add apples, tossing to coat. Spoon into prepared pan.
  3. Combine oatmeal, 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 cup brown sugar in a bowl and stir in butter. Spoon over apple mixture.
  4. Bake 45 minutes or until apples are bubbly and topping is a golden brown.
